The "Trading Automation" tier is not offered. Automated order execution on a brokerage account has been withdrawn from the commercial catalog. Section 6 is kept for reference and would apply in full were that tier offered again.

1. No registration with regulators

Savantis AI is not registered with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or with any member of the Canadian Securities Administrators, in any capacity, including:

investment dealer or exempt market dealer (Securities Act, RSQ, c. V-1.1);
securities adviser or portfolio manager (Regulation 31-103 respecting Registration Requirements, Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations);
derivatives dealer or adviser (Derivatives Act, RSQ, c. I-14.01);
mutual fund representative or financial planning firm (Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services, RSQ, c. D-9.2).

The title of financial planner is a reserved title in Quebec; no Savantis agent uses it or claims to practise as one.

No advisory, agency, discretionary management or fiduciary relationship is created between you and Savantis AI. You do not become the client of any dealer by using these agents.

2. Nature of the content

Content produced by these agents is educational, general and illustrative. It aims to structure thinking, explain concepts, formalize hypotheses and track risk.

It does not constitute:

a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or keep a security, derivative, contract, cryptocurrency or financial product;
advice tailored to your situation, objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance or tax position;
a suitability or "know your client" assessment in the regulatory sense;
an offer, solicitation or distribution of securities;
tax, accounting or legal advice.

Even when an agent takes into account a profile you provided, that does not turn its content into personalized advice in the regulatory sense: there is no regulated suitability assessment and no registered professional behind the model's output. Treat every output as a hypothesis to be verified, never as an instruction.

3. Risks

Loss of capital. You may lose the entirety of the amounts invested.
Leverage and derivatives. Perpetual futures, margin and other derivatives can generate losses exceeding your initial deposit, including through forced liquidation.
Volatility and liquidity. A market can move instantly, dry up, or prevent any exit at the desired price.
Execution difference. The price obtained may differ from the intended price (slippage, fees, funding, spreads, data delays).
Inaccurate data. Displayed indicators, prices, tickers and market data may be wrong, delayed or unavailable.
Model failure. The agent may hallucinate a figure, misread a chart, miscalculate a ratio or propose an inconsistent level.
Platform risk. A trading platform may be hacked, insolvent, frozen, or may restrict access for Canadian residents.
Taxes. Gains, losses and transactions may carry significant tax consequences. Consult a tax specialist.

4. Displayed reasoning is not proof

Traceability mechanisms ("GlassBox"), invalidation levels, probabilities and outcome tracking are comprehension aids.

A displayed probability is an estimate produced by a model, not a validated statistical measure.
A backtest or track record predicts nothing and may suffer from selection, survivorship or overfitting bias.
Past performance does not guarantee future results.

5. Manual-signals mode — you execute, you decide

Within the Investing and Trading Coach, the manual-signals mode may propose signals with an invalidation level and track their outcome. These proposals are educational hypotheses.

No order is transmitted by this mode.
You decide whether to act, on sizing, timing and broker.
Push notifications and scheduled tasks may be delayed, lost or delivered outside market hours. Do not build any strategy that depends on the timeliness of a notification.

6. "Automation" tier — not offered

This tier is not available. No Savantis agent transmits an order on a brokerage account. The text below would apply in full were this tier offered again; read it before connecting a brokerage account to any tool.

The Automation tier executes, using your own credentials and your own account at Hyperliquid, Interactive Brokers or another intermediary, strategies you have defined, configured and authorized.

You are the order originator. Every order transmitted is your order. Savantis AI exercises no discretion over your account, holds none of your assets, has no custody, and does not act as your investment agent.
You must supervise. Automated software may, due to a bug, an outage, latency, a misconfiguration, bad data or a model hallucination: transmit an unintended order, transmit it twice, transmit an incorrect size, fail to close a position, fail to place a stop, or keep acting after you intended to stop it.
Set up a kill switch. Use the limits offered by your broker (maximum size, product restrictions, limited API permissions, read-only keys where possible) and know how to revoke API keys immediately.
No execution guarantee. No promise of availability, latency, accuracy, continuity, disaster recovery, or execution of an order. As the Service is in beta, an interruption may occur while positions are open.
You bear the losses. Any loss, margin call, liquidation, fee and tax consequence resulting from an automation is entirely yours, subject to the mandatory limits recalled in section 10.
Only commit what you can afford to lose entirely.
Start small. Test in paper mode or with negligible amounts before committing real capital.

7. Crypto assets and foreign platforms

Crypto assets and crypto derivatives carry particular risks.

Several crypto trading platforms, including certain decentralized perpetual futures platforms, are not registered or authorized to offer their services to residents of Quebec or Canada.
It is your responsibility to verify whether you may lawfully use a given platform from your place of residence, and to comply with that platform's terms.
Assets held on an unregistered platform benefit from no protection under the Canadian Investor Protection Fund, the Fonds d'indemnisation des services financiers, or any deposit insurance.
An address error, a lost private key or a smart contract failure is irreversible.

The fact that the Service can technically connect to a platform is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or an attestation of legality of that platform.

8. Conflicts of interest

Savantis AI is compensated through monthly subscriptions and inference consumption. No compensation is received from any broker, platform, issuer or third party based on your trades, volumes or account openings. Should any such arrangement exist in the future, it would be disclosed in this document before being implemented.

9. Your legal obligations

By using these agents, you undertake to comply with all laws applicable to you. You alone are responsible for that compliance.

9.1 Eligibility and territory

You must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into the transactions you carry out.
You must verify that the products, platforms and strategies you use are lawfully accessible from your place of residence.
You must not circumvent a geographic restriction, an identity verification, an account limit or a regulatory block, and must not use a VPN, a proxy or a third party's identity for that purpose.
You must comply with Canadian economic sanctions, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing laws, as well as the identification obligations imposed by your broker.

9.2 Market integrity — absolute prohibitions

You may not use these agents to:

engage in insider trading or communicate privileged information;
manipulate a market or a price (spoofing, layering, wash trading, accommodation trades, pump and dump);
disseminate false or misleading information about a security, an issuer or a crypto asset;
automate trading in a security subject to a restriction (employer blackout period, reporting insider status, lock-up undertaking);
breach your employer's trading policy or any professional obligation binding on you.

9.3 Do not manage other people's money

You may not use these agents to manage, advise on or trade another person's funds or accounts, whether compensated or not, including those of a family member, a friend, a group, a corporation, a trust or a business. Managing another person's assets or providing investment advice may require registration with the AMF and is an offence in the absence of registration or an exemption.

This prohibition also follows from the strictly personal use set out in section 4 of the Terms of Use.

9.4 Taxes and reporting

You alone are responsible for:

determining the tax treatment of your transactions (capital gain or business income, crypto asset transactions, currency positions);
keeping your records and retaining your statements;
filing all returns required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec, including, where applicable, the foreign income verification statement;
calculating and remitting any applicable tax.

Savantis issues no tax slip, calculates no tax and files no return on your behalf.

9.5 Your intermediaries' terms

Automating a brokerage account may breach your broker's or platform's terms and result in restriction or closure of that account. Review their terms of use and API access rules before enabling any automation.

9.6 Consequences

A breach of this section results in immediate suspension of access to the trading agents and, where applicable, termination of the account. You hold us harmless from any resulting claim, fine, sanction or loss, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Exclusion of liability

You bear full responsibility for your investment and trading decisions, their outcomes and their tax consequences.

To the extent permitted by law, Savantis AI assumes no liability for, among other things:

any financial loss, loss of capital, lost opportunity, margin call, forced liquidation, funding fee or transaction cost;
the inaccuracy, delay, unavailability or absence of any market data, indicator, price, ticker or external source;
an error, hallucination or inconsistency of the AI model, including an erroneous level, ratio, probability or line of reasoning;
an order not transmitted, transmitted twice, transmitted with an incorrect size or price, transmitted late, or not cancelled;
an interruption of the Service, an outage, latency, loss of connectivity, maintenance, update or infrastructure failure, including while a position is open;
the loss of data for a strategy, a dossier, a decision log or a track record;
a notification that is delayed, lost, duplicated or delivered outside market hours;
the act, omission, failure, insolvency or access restriction of a broker, platform, data provider, cloud provider or model provider;
a decision you take following content produced by an agent, including a decision not to act;
the tax, regulatory or disciplinary consequences of your transactions.

The limitation of liability and the cap in section 13 of the Terms of Use apply in full to these agents.

Mandatory limits. The foregoing does not apply to bodily or moral injury, nor to injury caused by intentional or gross fault (art. 1474 CCQ), nor to the extent prohibited by section 10 of the Consumer Protection Act. If one exclusion is held inapplicable, the others remain in force.

No performance guarantee. No return, no success rate, no signal accuracy and no financial outcome is guaranteed, promised or implied, whether by this document, the interface, or any promotional material.

11. Consult a registered professional

Before any significant investment decision, consult an adviser registered with the AMF. You can verify a person's or firm's registration in the AMF's Register of firms and individuals authorized to practise: lautorite.qc.ca.
